Another inspiring event of the Role Model Series with two guests this time: Amira Ghozali, Director, Strategy and Market Intelligence, Aptar Pharma, and Bas van Buijtenen, IDP-C20, AMP05, CEO, LTS Lohmann Therapie-Systeme AG.

As a reminder, each Role Model Event features one or several inspiring guest speakers from the Swiss leadership community who are strongly promoting and establishing these topics in his or her work environment. In a very personal and practical way, the guests talk about their experiences, learnings and best practices on their way to bring more gender equality into the business world. The talk is followed by networking circles for attendees to network, share experiences and learn from each other.

The two will talk about how they launched a DEI initiative at Aptar Pharma in 2018 with very little means and became a company-wide program that led to Aptar Pharma being recognized among the Global Top 10 female-friendly companies by Forbes.

Starting small with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) might very well lead to big results. At least it did for Amira and Bas when they worked together at Aptar Pharma, an innovative drug delivery company with 13,000 employees around the world.

The Aptar DEI initiative began with minimal resources. It was a grassroots project that spread from a single business unit to the whole company.

Join this event to hear how they did it and what the key success factors were for this program.
